I grew up in Siberia, in a small scientific town where most people worked at research institutes or universities. Curiosity, discussion, and careful thinking were part of daily life. That environment shaped how I approach problems: observe closely, ask questions, reflect, and discuss.
I currently live in Mexico, and before that, I lived in Thailand and Georgia. Each move pushed me to adapt, learn new languages, and work with people who think and work very differently. Those experiences taught me how much perspective matters — and how good work often comes from listening carefully and learning from others.
I work at the intersection of AI evaluation, quality, safety, and human behavior. My work focuses on understanding how AI systems behave at scale, analyzing model outputs, identifying patterns and failure modes, and improving data quality and evaluation processes. I collaborate closely with researchers and engineers across large AI products, and I’m particularly interested in AI safety, policy, and the practical side of ethics — how decisions around data, evaluation, and deployment affect people in real life.
I don’t fit neatly into a single job title, and I’ve learned to see that as an advantage. I trained in psychology, which taught me how to observe people, behavior, and context. I worked in research, which taught me how to ask precise questions, test assumptions, and sit with uncertainty. I spent time working in product, which taught me how technology is built, how decisions are made, and how products shape the way people interact, behave, and make sense of the world. And now I work in AI. which taught me how large, complex systems behave at scale. Over time, I’ve become comfortable working with complexity rather than simplifying it too early.
I’ve rebuilt my life and career multiple times — across countries, industries, and languages. Change doesn’t scare me. It motivates me.
Whatever I do, I try to understand the full picture. I like digging deeper, asking “why,” and pushing myself beyond the obvious answer. If I don’t know something, I learn it quickly and thoroughly.
I’m not afraid to say “I don’t know yet.” Questions help me work faster and make fewer mistakes.
I like growing. Feedback helps me adjust my direction and improve my work.
...I'm busy taking care of my family and kids. However, I try to do it in a fun and engaging way, like exploring our surroundings, spending time on a beach, and hiking in nature. We also enjoy playing board games and watching Netflix together.
I love cooking and am a huge foodie. Food is another language for me, and I love to communicate and express myself through it.
When I'm alone, which is a very rare occurrence, I love reading. I could easily spend hours in a bookshop or a library and feel completely at home there. Music is another constant of my life, especially jazz and classical. Being near the ocean is how I reset, and a sunset beach yoga is my regular way to recharge and slow things down.
